My Dear Friend Virox,
I am unable to comprehend what you are trying to say, not because I lack emotional or ethical maturity, but because I know nothing of the matter and wish to know so as to expand my intellectual horizons.
"Hope you guys can respect ppl even if u dun happen to respect joshua", in this quote you most obviously imply that it is fine, in your opinion, to disrespect joshua. I disagree on this, and I think that everyone should respect joshua, but more on that later.
You also imply in this phrase that the are other parties that deserve respect other than Joshua, I do not see this the case, because I do not see other parties that are at the crux of the matter. Please inform me about these parties so that I may take note and refrain from disrespecting them any longer (assuming that I have done so in the past).
"And as her brother and friend I WILL defend her k", in this quote you refer to a member of the female party, of which I am unable to verify. For which in this case, you refer to yourself as 'her brother', and therefore, since I have no idea who your siblings are, I am unable to pinpoint the identity of the person you are trying to defend. Perhaps, I am a little outdated, or unobservant, nevertheless...
"will have me to answer to k", in this quote, you sound as if you are threatening the entire class, about something that is most definitely "means smtin to" you. I obviously once again do not realize how something meaning something to you and answering for it is much of a threat really. As for the "spews nonsense in class" I assure you there will be no such thing, for as long as the definition of your 'nonsense' has come to a conclusion.
As much as a respect something that means something to you, it doesn't mean that upon offended, you can actually make someone 'answer to' you, whatever that is supposed to mean. Everyone has something important to us, and many times we feel offended, but that doesn't mean we have to take on the aggresive role and go around threatening people.
I do not wish to go into religious context, but stating that 'Mary is Not a Virgin' blatantly in class is disrespectful to us (note term). Yet, the matter is of the past, and of course no one came to threaten you or to make you 'answer' for anything at all. I of course totally understand that poeple have their own views of religion and the world, and so that's when respect comes in.
Respect for the differences in the world, is what all of us should be exercising. I do, however, agree with you about one thing: That we should respect people. Yup, so that's just my negative 2cents worth.
PS. I don't understand the reiteration part, because I don't remember you saying any of this in class
PPS. If you may think me dumb, or a hypocrite, or a half-minded monkey, then by Jove! tut-tut! What the dickens! YOU ARE QUOTING SHAKESPEARE!
so utterly random that you can't comprehend it.
